East Africa Transport & Infrastructure Conference in Addis

DP World in Berbera was honoured to take part this week in the 7th Annual East Africa Transport and Infrastructure Conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The conference brought together public and private sector experts to discuss the development of transport and infrastructure in the region to drive trade and
grow economies.

Our CEO of DP World in Berbera, Supachai Wattanaveerachai, shared a detailed presentation about Berbera Port in Somaliland, strategically located in the Horn of Africa.

The port, integrated with the Berbera Economic Zone we are developing along the Berbera to Addis Ababa Corridor, will play an important role in the region, as well as support Ethiopia’s aim to diversify its port access and trade corridors to meet the needs of its growing economy.
