President Tsai Receives Somaliland Representative to Taiwan

President Tsai Ing-wen received the representative of Somaliland on Monday. In her remarks at the reception, Tsai said she hoped the two sides would remain strong partners in the international arena.

She continued saying that our new friend, Somaliland, is a model of democracy in Africa. In the future, our respective representative offices will work to launch various cooperation projects, promote exchanges in many areas, and deepen the friendship between our peoples.
