Dr. Edna Adan: Somaliland’s Legality & Legitimacy for Statehood

The essence of Edna’s speech to the Catalan National Assembly  in Spain was that the world seemed to have unfairly held Somaliland’s case for resuming its statehood and the unilateral divorce of its union with Somalia in 1991 to an unprecedented standard of rebirthing again as a new nation for more than 30 years rather than embracing its independence of 1960.

In Somalia , on October 14, 2017, terrorists detonated a two-truck bomb near Mogadishu’s Hodan district, killing at least 587 people. It was a massive explosion. The Safari Hotel collapsed. The killing of the 4th battalion commander of Somalia in Las Anod by Somaliland fire after he had been trained by U.S. Africa Command on tax payers money to combat the Al-Shabab terrorist group is the smoking gun that Somalia’s government is causing Somaliland to become unstable and siding with the terrorist group, and Biden’s Defense Department leadership should be questioned regarding this developing story.
