إثيوبيا وأرض الصومال تتزعنان: نرفض بشدة معارضة الجامعة العربية لمذكرة التفاهم الثنائية

وفي ردين حازمين، رفضت إثيوبيا وأرض الصومال رفضا قاطعا بيان جامعة الدول العربية الأخير الذي يدين مذكرة التفاهم بينهما. أعربت أرض الصومال في بيان صحفي اليوم عن أسفها العميق لقرار جامعة الدول العربية خلال اجتماعها الطارئ لوزراء الخارجية في 17 يناير 2024.

وأكد بيان الجامعة العربية دعم أمن الصومال وسيادته، معلنا أن مذكرة التفاهم بين إثيوبيا وأرض الصومال لاغية وباطلة. وفي توبيخ لاذع، انتقدت أرض الصومال موقف العصبة ووصفته بأنه عدائي وغير عادل وتدخل صارخ في الشؤون الداخلية. وتأكيدا على استقلالها، أكدت أرض الصومال على حقها في إبرام اتفاقيات مع الدول الصديقة، محذرة من العواقب إذا استمر التحريض ضد مذكرة التفاهم، متهمة مقديشو بعدم المسؤولية التي يمكن أن تؤدي إلى تصعيد الصراعات في القرن الأفريقي.
