When each one of us was locked up in solitary confinement, in single separate cells, that was the moment everybody started reflecting on what was going to happen to him and to his friends. One of the coping mechanisms we used was to convince ourselves that this was not going to last long, that this would not continue for long, that we would not remain there for long.
