Taiwanese Expatriate Foundation to help Somaliland

Bao Panxiaodai (Tina Bow) was born in Taiwan and moved to the United States after marriage. In an activity to help poor villages in Mexico, she realized that material success is not the source of personal happiness, so she co-founded the Helping Foundation with several like-minded friends. Since its establishment in 2000, it has been committed to reducing poverty by providing emergency disaster relief, vocational training, and providing care and shelter for the elderly homeless. Since its establishment, it has assisted many countries in disaster relief, epidemic materials, set up schools, etc.

Looking back on 22 years of charitable activities, Bao Panxiaodai said that the most impressive ones are the children in Nicaragua or Cambodia who have no chance to go to school, and are also distressed for three meals a day, which makes her feel for life. All kinds of attitudes have a different point of view, and cherish everything in life more. Mention that the Foundation is planning to travel to Somaliland, which suffered a fire not long ago, to set up vocational training courses.

Tong Zhenyuan said that in the past 22 years, the Help Foundation has assisted many countries that have encountered natural and man-made disasters, and led teams to remote areas such as Myanmar and Cambodia to observe the local conditions and discover the resources lacking in the local area, such as education-related ones, equipment, computer equipment, and donated more than 500 containers of supplies during this period. The foundation’s actions are entirely out of charity and love, so the Overseas Chinese Committee also took this opportunity to thank Ms. Bao Panxiaodai for everything she has done and her admirable spirit. This award is well deserved.
