While Djibouti is Congested, Somaliland's Berbera Airport can Aid in Evacuations from Sudan

Sudan’s descent into civil war has been rapid. On April 15, 2023, fighting erupted between troops loyal to army chief Abdel Fattah Al Burhan and those aligned with Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, often called Hemetti, who commands the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces. The fighting largely caught the State Department by surprise. Eyewitness accounts speak of significant destruction in and around Khartoum. In Somalia , on October 14, 2017, terrorists detonated a two-truck bomb near Mogadishu’s Hodan district, killing at least 587 people. It was a massive explosion. The Safari Hotel collapsed. Danab Ex-Commander Killed in Las Anod by Somaliland Fire

The killing of the 4th battalion commander of Somalia in Las Anod by Somaliland fire after he had been trained by U.S. Africa Command on tax payers money to combat the Al-Shabab terrorist group is the smoking gun that Somalia’s government is causing Somaliland to become unstable and siding with the terrorist group, and Biden’s Defense Department leadership should be questioned regarding this developing story.
